Fujitsu Quaderno Gen.2 Bluetooth Connection with Macbook

I have a mid 2014 macbook pro (macOS BigSur) which still runs great. However after pairing it with Quaderno via Bluetooth, the subsequent connections just don't work. Quaderno APP cannot connect to the digital paper every time, even though I turned on BT on both devices and manually connected them in BT menu.

My Solution

1. Go into macbook's System Preferences>Network, select "Bluetooth PAN" on the left.

2. Click "Set Up Bluetooth Device..." at the bottom. (Make sure both devices' Bluetooth are on.)

3. On your Quaderno Digital Paper, activate "Bluetooth Pairing"

4. On Mac, pair up with digital paper (see picture, double click Quaderno's Bluetooth name, should start with FMVDP41\_xxxxxxxx). I turned off Wifi, tried a few times before FMVDP41 showed up.

4.  You should see it connected like this. If it's disconnected, just right click it and select "Connect". Quaderno APP should be able to connect via BT afterward. Again, it'll take some time for it to refresh and discover the connected Quaderno. On Quaderno Bluetooth you'll see Bluetooth Connected.

Note that the macbook's wifi will be disconnected during this time since they interfere with each other and Apple doesn't plan on fixing it. Just disconnect Bluetooth PAN after transferring your pdfs.
